Molly Heizer became enchanted by her first encounter with the imagery of the Native American tribes of the southwest. It became the driving force behind her career as a ceramic sculptor. Her work has been on display in art galleries, group shows and one-person exhibits in Colorado, New Mexico and California. Her unique work is shaped by hand from low fire terra cotta, using slab and coil methods. Her recent figures are large and many times each sculpture is attached to another vertically creating stunning ceramic totem poles. Native American Trading Company is honored to carry the exciting work by Molly, a fine artist who currently resides in Aspen, CO.
